It is with great enthusiasm that I announce that last month, the National Strength and Conditioning Association has appointed me as the new NSCA Maryland State Director. The NSCA is the world’s premier and preeminent trade association for the fitness industry. It is an honor to be recognized by my colleagues for my accomplishments and to be in a position where I can “coach the coaches” and advance the strength and conditioning profession.
Thanks to my predecessor JD Snyder, who has moved on to coach the Chinese Olympic Committee, for his recommendation and to Tommy Barr for appointing me to the NSCA Maryland State Advisory Board many years ago. Thanks to all the sports teams and clients who gave me the opportunity to be their coach. Thanks to Baylor Football, of course. Sic ’em Bears. As always, in all circumstances, all glory goes to Jesus Christ.
