It made my day to meet up with my old Gilman kicker and Gilman Bible Study member Doug Godine last Saturday before he departed to study and play lacrosse at Denison University. Mr. Godine was an integral part of our Cinderella championship appearance last year. He and I also had our own unique field goal dance we did together after every conversion!
I am immensely proud of the man he is and is becoming. I pray that he experiences joy, discovers purpose, overcomes all future challenges, and knows he is loved unconditionally by his friends, family, and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
