It was awesome to see my former offensive lineman Kevin Baker #60 dress out for Stevenson University’s football season opener as a true freshman last Thursday night and share a postgame meal afterward. I coached Mr. Baker back during my high school coaching days in Montgomery County, MD and continued to do so through my private strength and conditioning business after I started coaching in Baltimore. Helping my male and female athletes achieve their childhood dream of playing at the next level and inspiring them to grow in faith, intellect, and integrity through the process is why I coach. I was honored to be a part of this milestone in Mr. Baker’s life.
Plus, I enjoyed watching Stevenson University’s football season opener from the VIP section with my friend Mary Clare McFadden, Assistant Athletic Director and Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Stevenson.
